Positions available at BAFA

There are several opportunities open for volunteers to work with BAFA. We accept self-nominations and nominations from friends/colleagues for posts. Please do not be too modest or wait to be asked – your interest in any of these positions would be very much welcomed. 

BAFA South East Area Group (SEAG)

The British Accounting and Finance Association South East Area Group (SEAG) invites Expressions of Interest and nominations for several posts on the Executive Committee as follows:

• Co-Chair
• Secretary
• Elected Member (Conference Organiser)
• Elected Member (publicity and social media)
• Elected Member (without current portfolio)

For consideration for these posts please provide a brief statement, not more than 200 words, indicating the contribution you intend to make to the SEAG Executive Committee.

To be nominated for election or propose yourself for co-option you must be a member of the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) and of the South East Area Group (SEAG).

The deadline for receipt of interest is Monday, 19 November 2021.

Nominations should be e-mailed to the co-Chairs of the SEAG, George Alexandrou (g.alexandrou@kingston.ac.uk) and Monomita Nandy (Monomita.Nandy@brunel.ac.uk) and copy in The General Secretary of the BAFA (Ian Crawford: generalsecretary@bafa.ac.uk).

Appointments are made under our Diversity and Inclusion Policy and are overseen by our Diversity and Inclusion Monitoring Committee.
