26th Workshop on Accounting and Finance in Emerging Economies

Monday 16 - Monday 16 December 2024 Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham

The organising committee of the Accounting and Finance in Emerging Economies Special Interest Group (AFEE SIG) is pleased to announce its 26th annual workshop to be held at Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham on 16 December 2024 (09:00 -16:00).

The workshop aims to bring together academics working on accounting and finance issues concerning emerging economies. The workshop also aims to raise the level of interest in the specific problems of accounting and finance in emerging economies; and increase awareness of real issues, so that accounting and finance in these countries will not just be seen as a matter of copying what is done in the industrialised countries. It provides an authoritative overview of the research and progress in this field.

There is also the opportunity for networking at the pre-workshop dinner (at your own cost) on Sunday 15 December.
